Surrounded by three oceans and bisected by the Ghats a 1500 km long mountain range along the west coast of India. Driving in Goa/Kerala is nice, good roads in hilly mountains. Also temperature in January is nice, below 30 degrees. Start in Goa, where Portuguese influence is still palpable, visit the Royal Enfield café/museum in Goa, wander through the ruins of Hampi, visit the palace of the maharajah in Mysore, explore the tea plantations of Munnar, backwaters in Kerala, elephants in Thekkady (maybe you will see a tiger), Buddhist temples in Madekeri, take a bath in a waterfall or go swimming on one of the many beaches.
